Our Cause Area for May is US Troops + Veterans. Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. There are many ways you can say thank you to our Troops and Veterans as we continue to serve from home.
Operation Gratitude is a nonprofit whose mission is to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide.
Several Serve-From-Home Projects can be found on their webiste by clicking here. Projects include:
1. Making Cool Ties to keep the troops cool during the summer.
2. Making Bandanas (used to compress wounds, protection from the sun, dry items and etc)
3. Writing Letters or Making Cards for the troops and veterans
