About
Are you looking to spice up your summer, earn a minimum of 35 service hours, and get some hands-on experience along the way? The Spruill Center for the Arts is looking for volunteers to help the Art Camp Teachers!
The Spruill Center for the Arts Summer Camp is an 11-week program designed for students ages 5-14 looking to enhance their creativity and learn various art techniques in closely guided activities led by experienced art instructors. Each week follows a unique theme, and art displays are presented at the end of each week to showcase the camper's creative journey. To learn more about the program, please click here.
What to Expect: Sign-up for one (or more!) camp weeks and help the Spruill Art teachers...
- Get supplies ready for projects
- Manage the classroom and take campers for bathroom and water breaks
- Clean up the classrooms and supplies at the end of the day
- Watch the campers during recess
- Learn from trained art instructors and engage with the littles!
How to Register: Please click here to complete a volunteer form with Spruill. Volunteers will be contacted by Grace Cox with further details on camp teacher assistant availability and scheduling!
All volunteers must register at least TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE CAMP WEEK and be available for ONE FULL CAMP WEEK.
