Join us for hands-on training on Dining Services procedures/equipment while serving and preparing lunch for clients at My Sister's House (Atlanta Mission) all at the same time. As you prepare and serve a meal, you are supporting the kitchen staff and helping create a loving, joyful environment.
- Receive hands-on instruction specific to preparing and serving a meal
- Assist in preparing and serving lunch to clients at My Sister's House
- Assist in cleaning the kitchen and dining room after the meal is served
- Must adhere to all Covid-19 Guidelines in place while at Atlanta Mission including but not limited to wearing a mask over mouth and nose for the entire time and temperature checks.
Serving in this key volunteer role, you will gain valuable skills in food service, work with a diverse team of dedicated volunteers and support Atlanta Mission's goal of providing transformational care and resources to those experiencing homelessness.

-Physically able to lift and carry small items and stand for the length of service
-Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older
-All volunteers must wear pants, closed-toed shoes, and shirts with sleeves
Note: This opportunity is not available for the completion of court-ordered community service
