Celebrate Veterans on Mother's Day

Join Pebble Tossers as we honor and thank the Mothers at the Trinka Davis Veterans Village. Our Cause Area for May is US Troops + Veterans.

COVID has exacerbated loneliness and social isolation for Veterans living in long-term care facilities. To honor the Mothers that served our country we are sending Mother's Day Gift Bags to the Trinka Davis Veterans Village.

About the Project: This project is perfect for all ages and can be done any day or time as long as the gift bags arrive by May 7. Once registered for the project, volunteers will receive an email with more instructions.
- Make between 1 - 3 gift bags
- Pick several items below to include in your gift bag(s).
- Include a card or note with each gift bag thanking the veteran for their service and wishing them a Happy Mother's Day.

Mother's Day Gift Bags

Our friends at A.G. Rhodes would like for Pebble Tossers volunteers to help them celebrate Mother's Day with their Elders.

About the Project: A.G. Rhodes will be giving the Mothers tumblers and thought it would be nice to have a cute decorated gift bag to put them in. Volunteers will complete this project at home and purchase all supplies needed. This is a great family project.

- A minimum of 5 bags must be made. If you or your family plan to make more than 5 bags please email lisa@pebbletossers.org with the number of bags you plan to make.
- Purchase white paper gift bags
- Get creative with your Mother's Day-themed gift bags with stickers, markers, crayons, ribbons and etc. (no glitter)
