Atlanta Humane Society Tour

The Atlanta Humane Society - Alpharetta Campus is offering our Pebble Tossers members an exclusive, behing-the-scenes tour of their facility and you're invited!

For more than 149 years, The Atlanta Humane Society has remained steadfast in their mission to stand strong in defense of the vulnerable. The Atlanta Humane Society aims to better lives, instill compassion, and uplift the whole community by connecting homeless animals with good homes and providing neglected animals with safe spaces.

While this is not a service project, volunteers are encouraged, but not required, to bring items to donate such as towels, blankets or anything on The Atlanta Humane Society's Wishlist

No-Sew Fleece Blankets

Fleece blankets are used by many different nonprofits for babies, foster children, children in the hospital, those experiencing homelessness, shelter pets, and more. Providing a warm blanket can ease many difficult situations.

Since this is a virtual project it can be done any day and time and not just the day registered for. Instructions on how to make the blankets will be provided with the registration confirmation email and can be found on the Pebble Tossers Resource Page.

We typically collect items such as the No-Sew Blankets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All of the details will be provided in the confirmation email.
