The Atlanta Angels need volunteers to help deliver Holiday Love Boxes for their foster care community. Volunteer drivers must be 18 and older but passengers/helpers can be any age. The date on time on the calendar is only to show the project. Boxes are ideally picked up on December 13, but not necessary at the time shown on the calendar. The time can be scheduled and then the boxes are delivered that week.
How to Deliver: Volunteers will pick up the gifts on December 13th and deliver them in that same week. Volunteers would need to go to their office in Alpharetta to get the gifts. Deliveries can go into the next week as well, but we are hoping that volunteers can drop them off by December 17th. Since it's a porch drop-off, they could take the box on their own time that week. Volunteers will receive more details from Atlanta Angels about the deliveries, locations, and how many they will deliver after they have registered.
About the Atlanta Angels: Their mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. Through two programs, the Love Box program and Dare to Dream program, their goals are to increase placement stability and relational permanency.
This is the location to pick up the boxes to be delivered.
