This is an Open Project for September in honor of the Elderly.
In an effort to add extra protection for the medical community and others, a call to action has been sent out to communities worldwide to make masks. There are many templates and opportunities to make masks for yourself, your family, those with a higher risk of contracting COVID-19 and the medical community. This project can be done at any time in addition to the dates on our calendar.
Patterns for sewing masks can be found all over the internet. Below are a few suggestions:
- Provided by Gwinnett Northside Hospital; Note: they are no longer providing fabric. Step by step instructions and an explanation of why these are needed can be found by clicking here. Click here for simple video instructions. For the template click here.
