SafeHouse Outreach SafeHouse Outreach (SHO) is a nonprofit organization that aims to transition people from homelessness to a point of stability and independent living. SHO provides practical, emotional, and physical assistance and support for the in-need and at-risk, and helps integrate them back into society through time-tested programs.
At home project: Volunteers can still serve those experiencing homelessness by making hygiene kits for the guests of SHO and then dropping them off at SHO. This is an OPEN PROJECT so if you are not a Pebble Tossers member click here to participate in this project.
Requirement: Send a photo of you and the hygiene kits you make and send to email@example.com If you are doing this to fulfill any service hours requirement you MUST send the photo before we approve your hours.
Click here for details on how to make a hygiene kit.
Other Needs: In addition to the hygiene kits SafeHouse Outreach needs toilet paper. The other night 270 people came for dinner at SafeHouse, which is almost 2Xs the regular number! More people served = more need for toilet paper.
