HOPE Atlanta (formerly known as Action Ministries) needs volunteers to donate food or funds to purchase 125 to-go meals ($150 minimum suggested donation) for 20-25 chronically homeless women onsite and 100 food-insecure seniors via mobile distribution. Please note that they are now requiring all food to be prepared or purchased from a commercial kitchen and/or warmed on-site at the Women's Community Kitchen. Meals must be on-site by 9:00 am.
How To Register to Volunteer:
1)This service opportunity is managed by HOPE Atlanta so all volunteers have to register on their site. Before you select a day with us, please click here to see if the date is still available and to register. Pebble Tossers members then can register on our calendar so you can record your service hours.
2) The maximum number of volunteer spots is listed as 1 - this represents 1 individual or 1 family. If you are participating as a family we will add your family members to the opportunity after the registration is complete.
3) Please email April Greenberg (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss the contents of your lunch prior to your service date or if you have any other questions. This helps with their menu planning!
1) All volunteers must wear cloth masks or secure bandanas while on-site. Please bring your own personal mask.
2) Other COVID protocols are provided on the HOPE Atlanta (Action Ministries) registration site.
